POTABLE WATER SUPPLY NETWORK, NORTHERN CORRIDOR BUFFER ZONE, JUBAIL CITY

  • Client : Royal Commission for Jubail
  • Type of Service : Design and Engineering
  • Commencement Date : August 2016
  • Completion Date : January 2017
Evaluation of the existing and proposed potable water transmission and distribution system including the pump stations, demand requirements, pressure drops and pipeline sizes together with the necessary expansion to meet the planned future expansion and demands.
The potable water demand requirements based on the proposed northern corridor buffer zone master plan and land use were determined.
The hydraulic model and simulations for existing and proposed future primary and secondary distribution network were assessed and prepared based on the updated demand forecasts. Following the modeling the revised and optimized layout and the design of the existing and future systems were prepared.
The potable water revised master plan with the enlarged transmission and distribution system together with new pump station, pumps and control systems were then finalized.
